Have you flown Ethiopian Airlines or Egypt Air? Are they safe?

I’m flying from Europe to Ghana in a few weeks on Ethiopian Air, and flying back on Egypt Air in March. I’m in a big “debate” now with my mother about whether these are airlines are safe and whether I need to re-book. Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks!
