How hard is it to do an open mic show?

Well I am hoping with the help of a fellow Flutherier….? lol is that a word? to be singing :O closes own ears

I will give you a hint she is an opera singer!

I want to do some open mic stuff go sing a song or 2 for fun, can be electric guitar or acoustic (acoustic probably easier)

How hard is it to do/find? and what songs would you suggest I figured something middle road…..
