Is there a song that transforms you while you listen to it?
Not just a song that you like, or can dance to. One that literally transports you to a different place, emotional or otherwise.
One that you can put on repeat and lose just a little bit of your sanity to. One that when you put it on loud, you become a sort of embodiment of the music. One that you desperately wish no one was around for so you could really get into it.
What song, and how does it change you? Is it a peaceful feeling or do you go kicking and screaming?
My current song is The Reeling by Passion Pit (yeah yeah, I know). It reminds me how far I’ve come from my darker days. It also speaks to me of the future that has to be better than where I’ve been.
