Why is there so hard to find funny female comedians or good actresses? (see desc.)

I was building my list of my favourite actors and actresses over at Flixster and I ended up with a bunch of actors but only one actress of my liking. And when thinking about it, I am having a hard time thinking about a female comedian that I find funny as well.

Is this something sexist from my part? I swear I am preaching equity and gender equality as soon as I get a chance, but…I don’t know, it’s like as if…well…I don’t know…. Weird, though. Do you know?
