Causes/cures for vertigo?

I seem to have vertigo. I also seem to have my period. I generally do get weak from my period, but I’ve never had this severe dizziness before. Are they related? Any cures? I took some iron so hopefully it will help.

My symptoms are just that I’ve been getting dizzy both sitting and standing for several hours. I tried lying down, but that made it so much worse. The whole room was spinning, and I got really nauseous. Now it’s at bay because I’m sitting straight up and haven’t moved in an hour.

I want to have a fun new year’s eve, so are there any at-home remedies you know of?
