(NSFW) Women slow when on top?

Ok, I know of all people, it is weird that I am asking this
When I am on top during sex, I feel like I can not go fast at all. Because of this, I hate being on top. Do most women have a hard time going fast when on top? Is there a way or position that would allow me to go faster?
I have always thought that because my legs have to be on the outside of a man’s legs, that it is not possible to go fast.
The best I can do is bounce on his lap, when he is sitting. But even in that position, I feel like I am not doing a great job.
