Are there any other games like Dragon Warrior: Monsters?

Looking for a game thats close to the concept of Dragon Warrior: Monsters on GBC.
You could capture/convince monsters to join you, fuse them and make new ones in eggs. You were also able to battle them and do co-op through link. Does anyone know a game on DS similar to this style?
