What would ( if any) the risks of a crawlspace floor being mud be?

My landlord just emptied all the water from my hot water tank onto the floor in the crawlspace under the house. The whole area now is nothing but mud and i’m worried that this may cause some health risks for us. Both myself and one of my kids are asthmatic. are their any health issues I should be worried about and if so, what can be done?
