Asked by smashbox (1302points) January 23rd, 2010

Thirsty American’s rejoice as Burger King announces their newest addition: Whopper Bar. The first Whopper Bar will open in the South Beach area of Miami, Fl. serving beer/burger combos to saucy patrons. Reportedly, the trend will continue into other major cities including New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

The Whopper Bar will sell Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors beers for $4.25 in an aluminum bottle to keep them cold. The Whopper combo with a beer costs $7.99, about $2 more than the same combo meal with a soda. Burger Kings in Germany, Singapore, and Venezuela already sell beer, but the South Beach location will be the first on US soil.
