I need advice about finding my uncles relatives?

Not really my uncle, but he been a part of this family for a long time. (before i was born) he was in theVietnam War. He’s old.
and I can’t believe how all these people from war is most likely alcoholic’s or people living in the streets.
(go on Yahoo main page and read the new story about how the father (ex. bum) found his family)

he’s from Italy. his bro is still alive, AND HE’S RICH!!
i don’t know how . I bet he’s living off my uncles income from the war… (i think?) only my mom knows about that.

but anyways, he’s old. i always asked him about his life, he always says he has many kids and a wife… everybody thinks hes lying and drunk. but i don’t know and i feel bad. he smokes, he been smoking and drinking. it’s sad how he’s living right now.
my mom and dad just gives him alcohol and tobacco wraps & tobacco (the ones’ that you have to roll -up)

I wish some how I can find a relative in Italy. somehow from the internet. any tips on how to do this?
