What are your thoughts on the Americans arrested in Haiti?

Apparently 10 American citizens were arrested on suspicion of attempting to take 33 children illegally out of Haiti.The police say illicit adoption is the motive for this. Exploiting the country in a time of turmoil by dealing in child trafficking.They claim their innocence citing that they had permission from the authorties in the Dominican Republic to take the children to an orphanage there.However the Haitian police say they had no authorisation or papers to confirm this.I’m wondering if this is just a lack of communication by both parties as a result of the chaos currently ongoing in Haiti or possibly more sinister revelations may manifest themselves.
