Are there any on-screen notifications for Caps & Num Lock?

The designers of my spanky new laptop, for some peculiar reason, have decided to omit lights for Caps, Num and Scroll lock and I often tap Caps without realising it… I could learn to type properly but I figure there must be a little application out there, somewhere, that can display this information to the screen instead. At least, I hope so.
