Should Fluther use live updates like Google Wave?

Whenever I see “___ Is composing a response”, I have to sit there and wait until they are finished. With Google Wave credited for its instant updates, would Fluther be better off with them as well? Instead of “Arp is composing a response”, what if it said “I believe that turtles are considered part of the food pyrami-”. Sure, it would be a little weird, but wouldn’t it be more efficient? Just wonderin’ :)
