Why do my feet get cold so easily?

Asked by Zone36 (416points) March 7th, 2010

I’m thinking it is partly because I am skinny and my feet are bony. So, there is little insulation.

Also I know that when it is cold, your body takes blood from your appendages to keep your core warm.

So I think that since my feet are so thin, my body often keeps the blood away from them to stay warmer.

Also it’s only me feet that are cold. Not my hands or my body. Just the feet. Even when wearing socks.

What is your take on why this is? How can I keep my feet warmer?
