Why don't I recieve push notifications on my iPhone when I'm connected to my wireless home network?

For some strange reason I don’t recieve any push notifications when I’m connected to my home network with wifi. Internet works but I don’t recieve any push notifications until I leave my network then they all rush to my phone. Is there a reason to this? It’s only my home network that does this. Thanks
