What to do about ruined hair?

Hi, I took a long time to grow my hair out and then when to get it died from black to brown. The stylist didn’t know what she was doing and completely fried my hair. Now it’s like burnt red. My hair is naturally very glossy and wavy and now it’s like something totally foreign to me. I really don’t want to cut it off because I love long hair but I don’t know what to do. Any advice? Thanks.
