Did I mess up on my taxes?

I am usually excited when I file taxes and see that I am due a refund, but this 2009 refund is more than I expected. I am hoping it is because I was in a unique situation last year. I worked in the state of Utah up until the end of Sept. I was laid off all of Oct, and collected about 2 weeks of unemployment during Oct. I moved to New York and got a job the first of Nov. to end of the year. I filed part time resident in both states.

utah income – 38240 utah fed tax – 4384 utah state tax – 1882
NY income – 7940 NY fed tax – 957 ny state/local tax – 631

standard deduction for single, of 5700, moving cost of 490, and student loan interest of 1400, and the 400 workers credit.
but I am getting back:
1050 from Fed
517 from UT
279 from NY

Can anyone tell me if that sounds like too much? ... Hope I am not off, because I am unemployed again and could use the $$$.
