Looking for movie title.

My brother & I were quizzing each other with movie trivia… needless to say, I stumped him & myself. So now I turn to fluther for help. Here is what I remember about the movie.

I think I remember seeing it around 10 years ago. I believe it was being aired on T.V. when I saw it. It’s an American movie, in English.

Plot- College guy is worried about a big test coming up & spends all night at the computer to study. There was either a lightning storm, or maybe he spilt his glass of water on the computer, either way, he gets electrocuted through the computer & somehow all the data on the computer ends up in his brain. He now knows everything there is to know about the battles & wars that will be on the test.

One scene I remember very specifically…

When he finally takes the test, he finishes in just minutes & pulls out a mini bag of chips from his backpack & loudly opens them & crunches on them. The teacher looks up & then at the wall clock to see that he finished unbelievably quick, while everyone else is still on page 1 or so.
