Do you "worship the sunshine"? why?

There has to be a thousand reasons why we love the sunshine, other than survival on earth. is it the thoughts of a having a great tan, wanting our crops to grow, an emotional situation, that winter and cold weather is finally over, or is the love of the sun just in some of our genes? so, what does a bright, sunny day mean to you?
