Are these the symtoms of a ear infection?

I’ve had a really bad cold for the past week, my doctor suspected that I had mono. It turned out that I just had a bad virus. Yesterday at about 9 my ear blocked like I had water in it, and started ringing. All threw the night I was holding my ear with severe pain in it. Then in the morning my ear made weird noises, and water or something started coming out every couple minutes in drops. It felt much better after that, but now its still blocked, and is still ringing. When I hiccup, or sneeze my ear gets a short pain in it. I don’t know whether or not this is a ear infection or just my sinuses acting up. Thanks for the help!
