Has anyone read "The Slap" by Christos Tsiolkas?

It’s a fairly new book, but I bought it because it was on one of the “look at me!” tables at either Borders or B&N, so I figure maybe someone else thought it was interesting and also picked it up.

If you’ve read it, what do you think? I’d like to see what anyone else has to say before I say anything, since maybe nobody read it.
