Any flat-footed women have shoe suggestions?

I am flat footed and it’s extremely hard to find shoes that don’t cave over at the sides when I wear them. I usually need shoes with solid sides so they don’t easily get pushed down (they do eventually, though). In the winter, I have little trouble with boots, but once spring/summer rolls around and I try to find cute flats or sandals, nothing looks good. Maybe using arched foot inserts would prevent this problem? Anyone else struggle with this?
