Abnormal bleeding after intercourse, is this normal?

I had sex a week or so ago, and then I started spotting/bleeding dark brown blood everyday. My period is not due yet. I am nervous if it could be something bad, but I don’t know what to expect. I am seeing the gyno tomorrow to be safe, but I just wanted to see if anyone experienced this before.
