What can I do with my small room?

I have a small bedroom with blue walls and harry potter stuff everywhere. I was told to put all my clutter away to make it look much bigger. I have put all my collectibles to 1 side of the room would this be fine? I also want to change my quilt cover from harry potter to something nice but not too dark. I’m trying to get away from black. Please help.
