Isn't getting a great question or answer a lot like getting candy on Halloween?

Isn’t great questions and answers handed out like candy on Halloween? All it takes is one person to agree with your answer or question and you are on board. How hard it that when you have maybe 60+ people see or read the Q&A? Even a piss poor restaurant with crappy food will get at least one person to eat there. Does a great question or answer have any weight at all really?
