Yet again, another iPod with new computer dilemma. Transfer?

Unfortunately, the unthinkable happened…again. My laptop decided to quit on me, along with my iTunes. Fortunately, I still have my iPod. Now, I would like to transfer my library from my iPod to the new computer. I’ve heard the remedies for purchased items, but now non-purchased.
Before I go on, I only have music.
Now, I’ve had this happen to me before. Last time, I simply plugged my iPod into my new computer, and voila, I had all the songs. EXCEPT, the ones I had downloaded from CD’s.
So how do I get purchased songs AND CD songs onto the new computer?
