I accidentally put a pair of "dry-clean only" pants in my washer. Is this a problem?

Did a laundry with hot water. Noticed that my pants were 100% wool, and dry-clean only. Right now I have them hanging to dry.

Did I ruin them permanently / what will be wrong with them / should I take any preventative measures now to make sure they don’t get hurt any more than they already are?
