Side effects to Advil and Aleve?

Has anyone noticed a direct correlation of night-time hip pain to the taking of Advil or Aleve? I did see that unusual joint pain is an adverse event, but it must be unusual. But there is no doubt that if I go weeks or months without it and no pain, and then take two that day for a headache, I am tossing and turning that night with hip pain. Anyone else notice this? It took me a while to figure it out as I took more and more to get rid of pain and the pain got really, really bad and then disappeared immediately after stopping the medication.
