Birth control pills in the 1960's?

Fellow Flutherites,

I have researched wikipedia, google, psychology and health forums and sites and I can’t seem to find any substantial information on a particular birth control pill that is small, white and stamped with “34.” Has anyone heard of this pill?

I apologize for posting this here but my mom grew up in an abusive home, including sexual, and has reason to believe she was forced to take a birth control pill, matching the description above, in her youth. I am trying to help her find out if this is a repressed memory that has been convoluted over the years or if there is solid evidence this pill exists. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
