Is there a movie sequel that you expected would be bad, and you were surprised when it turned out to be decent?

The Exorcist is my all-time favorite movie. I’ve had The Exorcist 2: The Heretic in my Netflix instant queue for some time now, but I really avoided it because I had a hard time believing anything could come close to the first one. But I’m an hour and a half in, and I’m surprised to be enjoying it.

Except the locusts. I have freaking entomophobia… I am flipping the F out.
