How long does it take for car insurance costs to go down after recieving a DUI?

4 years ago, I was arrested for a OWI (operating while intoxicated, analogous to a DUI). I was 17 at the time and this obviously sent my insurance costs skyrocketing.
When will the madness end?
And please don’t get preachy at me about my mistake. I haven’t been pulled over for anything since the incident.
