Is it wrong to go to get a tarot reading or go to a psychic? Is that sinning against god?

I got into a discussion about this with my boyfriend about this. He told me everytime I do this I sin against god. I told him I do this strictly for fun. That I do not buy into what they tell me. Can someone tell me what is the truth here? Is this sinning against god? Even for a little fun? Thanks
