What to wear to an art program launch party?

I got accepted to an art program which is held by The Pancake Gallery and they’re having a launch party for the accepted students/participants. I received their invite but it didn’t say what kind of dress code it was, so now I’m not sure what I should wear. I’m not sure if I should go casual, semi-formal, formal or party outfit and I’m thinking of going shopping tomorrow. So what should I wear to this launch party?

I’m a female, 19 yrs old and I don’t like dresses nor heels.
What would you guys suggest?
