What is the worst injury you've ever suffered & how did it happen?

Yeah kind of nosey & presumptuous of me but hey, that’s what we’re here for more or less.Hopefully doesn’t bring back too painful a memory.Myself, well up to now i’ve never broken a bone, had a few scrapes when I was a kid. I was knocked over by some arsehole who mounted the pavement about ten years ago.My head went through the windscreen which shattered.I was propelled forward at a rate of knots but never actually hit the ground.A few stitches to the back of my head & I was right as rain.Painful but very very lucky I guess.
