Which of these make you happier: your greatest accomplishment or the most fun time you ever had?

If you can identify what you consider the biggest accomplishment in your life and the best time you ever had, which of those gives you the most satisfaction now?

Just so we can approximately compare, let’s scale down the accomplishment to a few months – so not a college degree for example, or raising children, but perhaps a major project in school or work, or a performance, or a competition, or getting a job, or building something; things like that.

And for the “Good time” maybe a summer, or vacation or a party or when you first fell in love, but not “When I was growing up” or “My college years,” or “My fifth marriage”.

I’m asking because I want to understand whether in retrospect people are made happy by what they’ve accomplished or what fun they’ve had. And I’m trying to scale down the timeframe because otherwise it’s impossible to compare.
