The sign says open 24/7. is it really?

On at least 10 different occasions, my wife and i have attempted to purchase certain foods from Jack in the Box restaurants in the Nashville area. this occured mainly after 10 pm. our main request was for two milkshakes. we have been given every excuse in the book, as to why milkshakes are not available at Jack in the Box restaurants, after 10 pm. one worker just told us, “the ice cream machine just started acting “quirky”, so we shut it down”. i have heard similar answers on many occasions from Jack in the Box. if the sign says open 24/7, aren’t they suppose to have ALL the food they advertise on the menu? is this the same situation where you live?
