Do larger monitors help with reading?

I’m considering getting a larger monitor than my current 11” one. Currently, I have to enlarge the font and then zoom in somewhere between 120 and 140% – which then leaves some webpages looking funky, and me scrolling left and right all the time. Will a larger monitor help with this, or will I be enlarging and zooming no matter the size of the monitor?
