Inflammatory eye trouble. Help?

Earlier today I was at my friend’s house and he accidentally poked me in my left eyeball. Well, that was this morning and immediately afterwards it started burning really badly and my eyesight was really blurry. I tried rinsing it with water and putting ice in a wash cloth on it but nothing has worked so far, and it’s still really swollen and burns. Plus, I am typing this with one eye closed. My dad said if it continues like this until tommorow that he’ll take me to the doctors. Do you have any advice on what to do with it until then???
