Do you ever find yourself overwhelmed by the amount of high visibility colouring around us?

From time to time I find myself overwhelmed by the number of things that are painted or designed to have high visibility. Our man made environment no longer uses the soft colours of nature, but everything is bright and intense to try to steal our attention – whether it is for the sake of advertising or warning of a dangerous crack in the pavement.

Do you ever have to take a break while you’re down the street, close your eyes for a few seconds, and then keep going? Do you look for the more natural parts of our environment? Is it possible to have colour pollution?
