Do you agree with these sayings?

1.They say time changes the things ,you actually have to change them yourself.
2.They say failure is the first step of success.
3.They say every tunnel has a bright light at its end.
These sentences are only sayings but very hard to implement or everyone can’t go on as per these sayings.
I just say to the sayer of these sayings,
They say time changes the things ,you actually have to change them yourself. (But,they never say the things that going to happen are good or bad).
They say failure is the first step of success. (But,they never say anything about next steps or second & remaining steps till last will be of success).
They say every tunnel has a bright light at its end. (But they never say,how far such dark tunnel goes?).
Do you agree with me? I am not saying it’s completely true,but partly it’s been true.
