What's a good subwoofer set-up to get for a small truck?

So, I have a 2001 Ford Ranger supercab (there’s 16in. of space from the front seats to the back) I want to get a decent subwoofer that will really pack a punch, for a friendly price. Right now, I’m thinking about going with a 10” sub box from kicker, the Solo-Baric L7. I also need an amp to go along with this, so if you have any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

So basically what I’m asking is, What sub, enclosure, and amp would you suggest for my situation?

P.s. Trying to keep it under $1,000, but if it’s only a little over that it’s cool. Thanks! :)
