Did you stay up to watch the meteor shower?

If so, why? It would be seen in much better quality on TV, in the comfort of your living room. Is it to be outdoors? Is it for the “real” aspect of it – or the “was there” thing?

I’m just curious as to why we do these things – in some cases, staying up til all hours of the night to see these astro-phenomenon. (Here, they appeared between 3–5 a.m.!)
