Should politicians that are not reelected face a punishment on a sliding scale?

I can only think of a few in Congress and above that give a shit about us. Most are wealthy and are bought to push a corporate agenda. You need a lot of money to get elected. They don’t represent us anymore and they simply do what it takes to keep the dollars rolling in to by ads to achieve power.

So maybe they should be punished if they don’t get reelected. It would be a sliding scale, let the people decide. It would certainly hold them accountable to the people they are supposed to represent.

Something like this on the ballet:

Incumbent Ojohn powell

Punishment if they lose.

        OShoot in face.
        OLife in Prison.
        OSeize Bank Account.
ONot a bad guy. The other person was just better.

The point is you would only run for office if you were sure that you would represent the will of the people in your district.
