(To the guys, girls can answer too so I can get why you think they do this.) Why do guys act like jerks to girls around their friends?

okay mostly toward the gentle men out there, but the ladies are free to answer as well so I can get your insights on it too. But why do guys act like jackasses when they’re with their friends and the girl is around? I mean they disrespect her in a way…But why? I think it’s because of the pride they have, or they want to show off towards their friends. That’s my thought on it. But what does everyone else think on it?
