How bad does a withdrawl look on college transcripts?

I am taking online courses for the first time this semester and I definitely feel like I have bitten off more than I can chew. I loaded myself full time and I am not doing so well in my Goverment class. I really want to drop/witdrawl from it because I don’t want to bring my GPA down. I think I could probably pass it if I had to stay it, but with a very low C. I know I could ace it if I could actually go to class, but online courses are apparently not my thing. I have honestly studied my butt off, taken notes, watched as many videos as possible, but it’s just not sticking in my head!! I feel like I will be letting myself down if I make anything less than a B.

So which would look worse, a withdrawl or a low grade?
