Does everyone have a personality quirk, or are we just weird? And why?

After talking awhile with another fluther user, we learned that both of us go barefoot in public and love pirates. I started thinking about it and I’m curious to know if other people have similar quirks. (by similar, I mean anything in the same league. not necessarily an obsession with pirates)

So do other people have any crazy quirks and why do you think this is?
