In your opinion what decade had the best music and what was it about the music that made it the best?

Just an easy start the weekend question. I’ve always loved music and have it on constantly. My brother once made the comment my generation (late 1970’s)had the best when it came to music. He grew up with music videos and he always said that they kind of ruined music for his generation. Did they? What was your favorite age of music?
