… and since when do jellyfish have necks, now that I think about it?

Wasp- It is totally not a cross. It is that regal symbol thingy the name of which escapes me at the moment. If it was a cross then we would have a dust pile with a cape…

And anything can have a neck if you squeeze it. ;)

It’s part of his cape.
...and he’s Episcopalian OBVIOUSLY.

Because he is a Jewish vampire jellyfish and is suckering you in. hehehe

@anartist : I see what you did there.

@Dog: Isn’t it a celtic cross?

timtrueman's avatar

His cross is just a heraldry symbol and has no religious context I assure you.

^ What @timtrueman said. :)

Couldn’t Dr. J be female?

troubleinharlem's avatar

@SundayKittens : Because the jellyfish has three legs.
if you catch my drift.

I just noticed! Dr. J has a swell costume.

I agree with @SundayKittens; probably just a decorative clasp for the cape.

I think that if it’s a jellyfish and it’s a vampire, it wear anything it damn well pleases!

Don’t you watch “Vampire diaries” or “Moonlight”....ppfffftt….Vampires aren’t affected by crosses at all. They are deathly allergic to verbane….and wooden stakes which can paralyze them and fire. I understand you have to stakem and burnem….which isn’t likely to happen to a jelly because we are all floaties! Hey you! Get that verbane away from my blow up pool!!!

Looks a little “Himmlerish” to me.

Looks like he has already had a cocktail tonight, perhaps a “Bloody Mary”?

Its a decorative clasp to hold his cape together, cmon!

That’s the last thing I’d wonder if some jellyfish wearing a cape was trying to give my jugular a blowjob.

Why is the sky blue?

I have always thought that the “cross” used in most vampire costumes/movies is worn about the neck on a ribbon very much like a military medal. It has always appeared,to me, to be a maltese cross like those worn on German military uniforms in WWII. It is possible (I sure don’t know) that the American movie industry thought vampires might look more scary if there was the subliminal element of the Nazi evil as part of the costume.

Its a vampires weakness obviously….they should wear garlic on their stinging tenticles.
