Whats a good shampoo brand for thick hair?

I have tried so many different shampoo brands. But none of them were quite right. For any of you that know any brands that make thick hair smooth, and straight please answer.

Purology. Its ridiculously expensive, but its spectacular. Also, clarify your hair of build up once a week by mixing your shampoo with baking soda then deep condition.
