What are some things to do at a girly party?

Give each other manicures and pedicures.

Watch girl movies (Like Letters to Juliet).

Order in pizzas.

Eat lots of candy and sweets.

Put on your favorite music and dance.

Talk about boys and do eachothers hair. Also, play games like pin the tail on the donkey and have a pillow fight. Waterballoon fights are cool too.

I remember sisters of my buddies used to record some stuff on a tape…maybe you could make a video or something like that. Maybe play the game “girl talk”?

It was a board game popular when I was young. I doubt it’s available today, but I remember it was well liked and has been reminisced quite a few times in overheard conversations since. Actually, a quick look reveals that there was a jenga version of the game a few years ago.

I have a 12-year-old daughter and here’s what she and her friends like to do:
If it’s warm enough, go outside and play Ghost in the Graveyard.
Otherwise play some games like Charades or Apples to Apples Jr (regular A2A may have too many references that you might not get).
They’ve also had a lot of fun painting their finger/toe nails. Give prizes for most creative, most colorful, best overall, ugliest, best using only 1 color…
Watch a fun or scary movie and eat lots of popcorn & junk

We had fun dressing up and pretending to be models. We would pose and take pictures. It would be even better now with digital cameras. We had to wait for the photos to get developed and we couldn’t delete the ones that made us look bad.

Have your mom write the names of famous people you know on a piece of paper, one name each piece, and tape one paper per girl on each of your backs. So everyone can see who you are but you. Then each person can ask yes or no questions to figure out who is taped to their backs and the other girls tell you yes or no. So, lets say you ask, “am I a singer?” yes. Am I blond? No. Am I an actress also? Yes. Am I Miley Cyrus? Yes. See you guessed it. Like 20 questions.
